At Money In The Bank, Damian Priest proved once again that he is a strong champion contender. He won the Money In The Bank briefcase and can now challenge any champion for a title match at his chosen time. While talking on WWE’s The Bump, Senor MITB spoke about his experience in the match with six other competitors.

During the interview, Damian Priest revealed that he was filled with anxiety and nervousness before the match. He also said that it was tough to get into the groove or gain any momentum. This was because the number of men who were in the match did not allow them to take any time to gather strength.

After Priest won the match, he said “I grabbed it and I was like, ‘This just happened. This is happening. This is real. I did it.” The 41-year-old revealed that this has been his dream for a long time and the achievement will always be special for him. Priest added, “And when you can achieve something like this … Inside I felt like a ball of emotions. It was wild.”

While talking in the same interview, Senor MITB also remembered that he had made a mistake during the build-up to Elimination Chamber. In a promo, he said “at Money In The Bank” instead of “at Elimination Chamber” which caused a lot of talks among the fans.

However, Priest revealed that at that moment, he had decided to be in the upcoming MITB Ladder match. Not only will he be in the match, but he will also win the match. Only then can he silence his critics who think he is not good enough.

Now that he has won the MITB Briefcase, Priest thinks that he has proved himself to be someone who can see his future and make it a reality. The former US Champion revealed that this was a special moment for him.
