Damien Priest entered his first ever storyline when he teamed up with a famous writer, singer, and music composer Bad Bunny. He was helping Bunny with his 24/7 championship and became very close friends both men teamed up against The Miz and John Morrison at the grandest stage of them all WrestleMania where both men took the win against their opponent.
Recently one more huge social media influencer entered the ring, Logan Paul. He shocked everyone when he showed his in-ring skills which are better than expected from the YouTube sensation. Logan Paul also defeated The Miz at the recent WWE premium event Summerslam. Logan is signed to the company but not in a feud currently.
Damien Priest discusses Bad Bunny and Logan Paul
Damien Priest was recently on a podcast and was asked about Bad Bunny and Logan Paul where he said his opinion on both men. He shared that he had already worked with Bad Bunny and Bad was good in the ring. Bad already proved this at WrestleMania and also when he returned to the company at Royal Rumble 2022.
Damien Priest did not say anything about Logan Paul and simply stated that he was not sure about how good he is in the ring as he has not worked in the ring with him but he has seen the match at Summerslam and was very impressed with the work he did put in the match and his performance in the match was also very good. He was very impressed with the frog splash he delivered to the Miz on the announcer’s table.
Damien Priest also stated about a match between both the stars and said that it will be a very fun match as both of them have been practicing in the ring backstage and they can have a very interesting rivalry both of them are signed with the WWE but are not doing anything currently.
“I know Bad Bunny can I don’t know Logan [Paul] to that extent, I haven’t worked with him. But, I know I guess the drive that he has so all jokes aside, I think they’re good. When, it’s cool that the narrative has changed as far as celebrities coming into WWE as it was just ‘Haha, I’m here doing that wrestling thing, and then I’m going to leave after I promoted my stuff.“
“I think Bad Bunny kind of changed that a little bit when he came in and actually came in for a long period of time, put in the world moved to Florida, and trained full time … As long as he takes it seriously like it seems he is, I could see the both of them putting on a good performance.”
