Dana White and Vince McMahon share a lot of similarities when it comes to running successful companies in the sports entertainment industry. However, the two have a varied history together and have not-so-good opinions about each other. While talking in an interview, the UFC President revealed that Vinnie Mac once wanted to fight him in a match.

White revealed that Vince McMahon once called him up and challenged him to a match. McMahon offered that the match could be in the UFC or even at WrestleMania; he was open to any match. However, White was not ready for this and thought that McMahon was ridiculous because of his age. The owners of the two giant companies have been vocal about their opinions about each other.

Many superstars from WWE have jumped into the world of MMA and fought in the octagon. On the other hand, many MMA fighters have also jumped ship to WWE and won multiple championships.

Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, and many others have had successful runs in WWE after working as MMA fighters. However, after becoming the UFC Heavyweight Champion, Lesnar had a two-year run in WWE from 2002 to 2004. Other WWE Champions like Dave Bautista, CM Punk, and Bobby Lashley have also tried their hands in the world of MMA.

The 77-year-old chairman of WWE continues to make his presence felt months after his retirement. In July 2022, Vince McMahon announced his retirement from WWE and all its programming after almost four decades. Triple H took over the creative control of the programming, and the changes were evident immediately.

Multiple sources are reporting that Vince McMahon was back on the July 7th episode of SmackDown, which took place at MSG in New York. Multiple superstars are also reporting McMahon’s presence on the show. This was not the first time the chairman returned to WWE programming and changed some aspects of the shows.

It was reported that this has caused a morale problem in the backstage area. Superstars have revealed that Vince McMahon is out of touch with the preferences of current fans. Therefore, the appointment of Triple H was seen as a great move, as evident from the ratings of SmackDown and Raw since Hunter took over.
