Daniel Bryan is one of the most talented wrestlers of all time. Bryan was a prominent and integral part of the WWE during his time at the company. Daniel Bryan was precise with his moves and didn’t find any trouble facing the big wrestlers. Bryan is strong and stiff with an incredible striking ability against the opponents. He is said to have been one of the best technical wrestlers of all time. Bryan’s ability to make the opponent tap through his submissions is really commendable and enjoyable to watch.

Daniel Bryan was forced to retire from wrestling in 2016, citing the concussions he suffered during his wrestling career as the reason for his retirement. Daniel had stated that he had suffered ten documented concussions in his wrestling career and might have suffered more as some may have been misdiagnosed. He stated that he used to suffer from post-concussion seizures and was the main reason for him to retire. He then assumed the role of SmackDown GM but returned to the in-ring competition in 2018 as he was medically cleared to wrestle again.

Soon after his return to in-ring competition from retirement, Daniel Bryan set his sighs on the WWE Championship and won his first title after his return in November 2018, when he defeated AJ Styles on an edition of SmackDown to become the WWE Champion for the 4th time in his career. He defended the championship on several occasions and eventually lost it to Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania 35, thereby ending his reign of 145 days.

Daniel Bryan’s gimmick as an environmentalist and a vegan during his championship reign was widely praised by many. He began his Universal Championship pursuits in 2019 but went on to be unsuccessful on all the occasions he participated in. Daniel Bryan’s final attempt to win the WWE Universal Championship was at WrestleMania 37 when he competed against Roman Reigns(c) and Edge in a triple threat match for the Universal Championship. The bout was won by Reigns, who pinned Bryan and Edge simultaneously. Bryan got his rematch on April 30th edition of SmackDown but lost the match.

This was the final match of Daniel Bryan before his release from WWE. He recently cited that he wanted a lighter schedule and wanted to bleed in some of the matches, which isn’t WWE’s policy now. WWE were forcing Daniel to sign a new contract but he didn’t. Bryan then joined AEW and has been wrestling on the promotion since then.

In June Daniel had suffered a concussion after his bout at the Anarchy of Arena and was out of action since then. He returned today on AEW and spoke about his Pro wrestling career. Bryan said that he has been wrestling for 23 years and has to live 100 percent each day, while also stating that nothing else makes him feel more alive than being in the ring. He said that he will never willfully stop wrestling.

“I’ve been wrestling almost 23 years and I don’t know if I will ever be 100 percent but I don’t need to be 100 percent i need to live 100 percent and there is nothing that makes me feel more alive than being in this ring and that said I will never willfully stop wrestling.”

Daniel Garcia then came out to confront Bryan and said that he doesn’t want Bryan to retire now and then, and so he would end his career for once and all by hurting him next week.
