Dave Bautista is one of the best-known actors in Hollywood. Before working in the film industry, Batista was one of the biggest names in WWE. As the star was not even close to his massive accomplishments, he wrote a book in 2007 named “Batista Unleashed.” His autobiography states an unfortunate incident in which he managed to survive a near-death experience with a drug dealer who fired gunshots.
Dave Bautista was born and brought up in southeast Washington, D.C. where the crime rate was higher. His neighborhood witnessed corruption, violence, drug mafias, and every possible sort of thing that the youngsters shouldn’t see. Dave wrote in his book about the times when he wasn’t allowed to go out in the front yard at night. As there was always a threat of a higher probability of crimes, especially at night.
Considering this horrible scenario, Dave Bautista wrote of the time when he and his sister were kids and got caught in a near-death experience. The siblings once encountered a drug dealer who was all out in his shootout. As they both got petrified and ran into the home for shelter, the drug dealer was seen running behind them. Their mom witnessed the incident and made sure they came into the house safely.
The Animal’s success could be seen in WWE as a result of his various title reigns. Batista’s impressive physique and in-ring abilities made him a top star in less time. Dave’s highly successful role as Drax in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie franchise was loved by the audience. Adding to his feats, he recently received a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Dave Bautista’s favorite match in WWE

In his autobiography “Batista Unleashed,” Dave Bautista wrote that his favorite match was against Triple H. Vengeance 2005 saw both stars get into a highly physical matchup inside Hell in a Cell. The match for the World Heavyweight Title saw Batista walk in as well as walk out as the champion.
Batista noted a spot where The Game hit him with a steel chair in the back that was wrapped around barbed wire. The bloody holes on his back were visible after the attack and shocked the audience. This was a result of Jim Ross‘ saying that he broke fans’ disbelief around him and made him look like a beast.
The crowd did not expect The Animal to retain the championship after brutal beatings. But luckily, he made it possible and defined himself as The Altered Beast. In 2005, the fans even saw him win the Royal Rumble and his title match against HHH at WrestleMania 21 with his iconic finisher, the Batista Bomb.
