Dave Bautista, aka Batista in WWE, made his name in the company during the Ruthless Aggression Era. He had a brief run with the company again after his Hollywood hiatus in early 2019. On his return, he feuded with Triple H, leading to their brutal match at WrestleMania 35. Thus, during the buildup of their rivalry, a point came when Batista and The Game were exchanging words on an episode of Raw, and the former forgot his lines and kept repeating the same line.

The March 11, 2019, episode of Raw saw Triple H calling out Batista and the latter making his entrance with security. Having made his appearance at an interview to promote his movie ‘Stuber’ in 2019, Dave was asked about a particular incident from the March 11 promo. Where he babbled on the same line and escalated only his tone while repeating a line. He even spat on the mic as he went louder and louder while saying that infamous line of his.

The infamous line from his promo stated, “Give me what I want!” and was constantly repeated by Batista. The reason for it was that Dave actually had not planned what to say next, so he just kept on saying the previous line aloud. But as he got time to think, a thought dawned on him, and he followed it up by saying, “I want you at WrestleMania.” This response from Batista was enough for Triple H, who then agreed to face him at The Grandest Stage of Them All.

A few weeks later, the two megastars battled at WrestleMania 35 in a No Holds Barred match. This was Dave Bautista’s last match in WWE, and he ended up losing it. The bloody match had both stars exhausted with a long matchup involving every sort of weapon in it. The Game showed his dominance over The Animal and won the bout while giving the audience a spectacular experience of ferocity.

Batista’s last match in WWE dates back to April 7, 2019, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The No Holds Barred match with Triple H happened at that year’s WrestleMania in the most brutal way. Having used every possible weapon in the ferocious matchup, The Game came out as the winner by dominating The Animal.

The reports by Wrestling Observer Radio suggest that this match was rather planned by WWE for an episode of Raw. But HHH smelled the numbers in it and prepped it for WrestleMania, seeing the grandeur of this bout. The Game changed the plans of WWE and took it off weekly TV to put it on the Shows of Shows.

The rivalry for this matchup was built around the 1000th episode of SmackDown in 2018. The heat between Triple H and Batista started at that moment and was brought up during further episodes of Raw. The feud officially started with Batista’s attack on Ric Flair on his birthday.
