Therefore, fans have always longed to see the 54-year-old on WWE’s elite list of legends. Batista revealed that he was initially scheduled to be part of the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2023. However, that didn’t happen due to his Hollywood schedule.

During the pandemic in 2021, WWE had plans to induct Batista into the Hall of Fame. Speaking about it, the Hollywood star said that he could not be part of it due to his other commitments. He also believes that it wouldn’t have been the perfect stage for him to receive this prestigious honor. Therefore, Dave Bautista wanted to express his gratitude to his fans in front of the live crowd.

This year, WWE once again had plans to confer the prestigious honor on the WWE legend. While speaking in an interview with CoolKicks, Dave Batista shed light on this. He said that WWE approached him about being a part of the 2023 class of the Hall of Fame. However, Batista sadly had to deny them due to his Hollywood obligations.

The 54-year-old stated that during the ceremony this year, he was in South Africa and was busy shooting an upcoming film. His upcoming project is the only reason that prevented him from being inducted this year. As a result, Batista was crestfallen at not being able to attend the ceremony. He said that it is something for which he has always yearned.

Batista is one of the most prominent names in WWE and has left a gargantuan footprint on the industry. His accomplishments in pro wrestling are unparalleled. Therefore, it is inevitable that WWE will induct him into the Hall of Fame and honor his legendary career.
