When Dave Bautista accused Vince McMahon for “double f***ing” the 46-year-old superstar

The multi-time World Champion Batista wasn't thrilled while offering his two cents over Titus O'Neil's 2016 WWE suspension. As a result, the former lambasted the main culprit behind that.

Former WWE superstar Dave Bautista couldn’t hold himself back after learning the wacky antics of Vince McMahon back in 2016. He lashed out at the WWE CEO for suspending his good buddy Titus O’Neil after a negligible on-screen incident. As has been made public in the past, O’Neil grabbed McMahon’s hand while he was heading backstage after Daniel Bryan’s retirement speech on Raw. After a while, Titus was informed that McMahon had suspended him for 90 days, citing a breach of professional conduct.

Reacting to the same, Batista rebuffed the 77-year-old while speaking to TMZ Sports. The wrestler-turned actor insisted that McMahon “double f***ed” his friend. Not only did Vince suspend O’Neil, but that also caused him to miss WrestleMania 32. That deprived the Global WWE Ambassador of receiving his biggest payday of the year as well.

Months later, The Army of the Dead star appeared on The Mike Calta Show. He further touched on the topic of Titus’ frustrating 90-day suspension. Batista even advised his buddy to leave WWE and pursue better opportunities elsewhere. Once again calling out McMahon on the podcast, The Animal said that the matter should’ve been handled in a more professional way.

Bringing up McMahon’s own habit of grabbing wrestlers backstage, the 54-year-old compared O’Neil’s grab on Raw to what Vince did. The Guardians of the Galaxy star opined that if Vince got annoyed at Titus, he would’ve confronted him backstage and talked it out man-to-man. What makes the matter worse is that The Animal revealed that McMahon beguiled Triple H to do the dirty work for him.

Was Dave Bautista inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame?

Since WrestleMania was held in Los Angeles this year, fans expected Batista to receive his long-awaited Hall of Fame induction. Originally set for 2020, The Animal declined the offer to receive the honor in the absence of a live crowd. That year’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony was held behind closed doors.

This year, The Showcase of the Immortals being in Hollywood was the perfect opportunity to give Batista his flowers. However, it never happened. Not because WWE didn’t contact him; instead, the former World Champion was busy filming his next project.

The wait continues to pile up. With WrestleMania being in Philadelphia next year, Dave Bautista can be inducted into the Hall of Fame. However, much like Dwayne Johnson’s fate, the former Evolution member’s fate too depends upon his ridiculously packed Hollywood schedule. If time permits, fans will see Batista headline the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame class.
