WWE has been built on the McMahon legacy for decades now. Vince McMahon, the godfather of the promotion, upscaled the product to its peak. He brought it to the mainstream and made it a behemoth business. It would be of no wonder for his family to be loyal to the business and see his kids Stephanie and Shane McMahon being its part. And now his grandson, Declan McMahon spoke about WWE while criticizing the competition.

Vince’s grandson and Shane’s son, Declan recently did an interview with WU Online. Michael Weaver Jr. asked McMahon about his guilty pleasure TV show and expected a certain answer. The original answer from Declan’s end was Yellowstone and Breaking Bad which he has recently watched. But Weaver expected him to feel guilty about watching AEW and Impact, essentially WWE’s rivals which Declan straight up declined.

His actions otherwise have also seen promoting WWE with his Indiana Hoosiers belt being inspired by John Cena‘s spinner belt. A post on Instagram has also shown him carrying the Undisputed WWE Universal Title replica.

Declan’s appearance on WWE stages happened at WrestleMania 32 when he accompanied his father. He danced along with his siblings as they came out to Shane’s theme song. The other known appearance happened recently at Fastlane where he represented his football team Hoosiers at Indianapolis.

Declan McMahon states the negatives for carrying the famous family name

Declan McMahon is a fourth-generational McMahon family member. Speaking in the aforementioned interview, Michael Weaver Jr. questioned Declan’s experience of being a McMahon. To add to the discussion, Weaver stated the family name has its positives but also asked about the negatives.

Declan said:

In holding a last name with the weight such as McMahon you have to always watch your back.

He hilariously stated to not think for people to attack him from behind but blamed it on social media. As he mentioned his every social media interaction could be traced back which pressurizes him.

He thanked his father, Shane McMahon, and grandfather, Vince McMahon for teaching him the things right way. Declan added:

All it takes is a screenshot and, in the day, we live today, it'll live forever!

He also went on to especially mention living with extreme care.
