36-year-old Superstar claims he got PTSD after thinking Jimmy Uso at SummerSlam was Mustafa Ali’s Retribution return
An NXT superstar felt that Jimmy Uso's attire at SummerSlam looked very similar to his former faction on RAW.
Jimmy Uso, Mustafa Ali and Mace
The main event of SummerSlam 2023 gained a lot of traction for the entire event, with Roman Reigns and Jey Uso tearing the house apart. But WWE pulled off the biggest shocker possible with the return of Jimmy Uso. The latter attacked Jey and was standing at ringside wearing a black hoodie.
While speaking about it, NXT Superstar Dijak said that Jimmy’s look gave him PTSD as he remembered his Retribution days. The 36-year-old posted a picture of Jimmy in his black hoodie wearing a bandana mask. He tweeted and wrote,“Ngl had Retribution PTSD for a minute…” The attire of Jimmy Uso and Retribution bore quite a resemblance.
Dijak is currently signed to NXT, but his time on the main roster saw him as a part of the Retribution stable. The heel faction led by Mustafa Ali had an ephemeral run on RAW and was dismantled within months. The faction’s look showed a resemblance to Jimmy Uso’s look at SummerSlam, as they had black attire with a mask to cover themselves. Thus, Dijak felt that the wrath of Retribution had returned to take on Jey Uso.
Jimmy’s betrayal of Jey at SummerSlam was the most unpredictable thing that transpired in the main event. It will be interesting to watch how things shape up in the next episode of SmackDown. The show airing live from Canada will be a delight for all the fans, as Jimmy would probably explain his actions at SummerSlam.

Jimmy Uso might not fall in line again with The Bloodline
In a shocking turn of events, Jimmy Uso betrayed his brother, Jey Uso, at SummerSlam. The Usos has officially disintegrated with Jimmy’s unexpected attack on his brother. But considering the past, Jimmy might not be interested in aligning with The Bloodline while feuding with Jey.
Jimmy Uso was the one who showed his ire over Roman Reigns and shattered The Bloodline at Night of Champions 2023. It would not make sense for him to again acknowledge The Tribal Chief and have his back. But he could be seen on his own path on SmackDown, trying to get under the skin of Jey.
The feud between the twin brothers is a WrestleMania-worthy matchup. However, to capitalize on the momentum, WWE can involve them in a program at the coming premium live event, Payback. The company can keep Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa away from this feud.
