WWE announces Donnybrook match involving Top Champion for Extreme Rules
WWE Extreme Rules is shaping up as a tremendous event
Are we sure that WWE is booking a “B-level” premium live event the way they’re doing with Extreme Rules? The card is being constantly loaded up with some really genius moves by the creative team. Most importantly, unlike last year’s edition the upcoming event contain some “extreme” match types which fans are absolutely thrilled for.
The latest edition in the already stacked list of matches is The Imperium (team of Intercontinental Champion Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci) will go up against their arch rivals The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Butch and Ridge Holland) in a good old fashioned Donnybrook match at Extreme Rules.
With the inclusion of this blockbuster 6-man Tag Team contest between some of the best and hard-hitting men on the current roster, the night inside Wells Fargo Center on October 8 in the city of Brotherly love promises to be a marquee affair for everyone attending in-person and millions watching around the world.
The tensions between these two teams have been running high since the last 1 month. Gunther successfully retained his Intercontinental Championship over Sheamus in one slobber-knocker of a fight as a result of which some brutal welts were developed over the chests of both men.
