28-year-old WWE Superstar set to miss major show after not being permitted to leave Mexico due to unexpected visa issues

The current NXT North American Champion Dragon Lee has found himself in bit of a trouble. Due to some visa issues, Lee won’t be able to attend NXT New Year’s Evil. He is not being permitted to leave Mexico until the issue surrounding his visa is sorted out.

The Lucha sensation took to X and delivered the heartbreaking news to the fans. He said he won’t be attending the NXT New Year’s Evil show due to a visa issue. However, he left the WWE Universe wondering what was going to be the surprise tomorrow.

The 28-year-old superstar became the NXT North American Champion after defeating Dominik Mysterio at NXT: Deadline. He has been a great fighting champion since, defending the title on many shows. He has defeated top superstars in his title defense like Tyler Bate and Butch.

Taking to X, Lee wrote:

Feliz año nuevo! Sad news to kick off the year, but due to visa issues I am unable to leave Mexico right now. Por eso, I will miss @WWENXT New Years Evil… But the LWO has a big surprise for the NQCC and the NXT Universe tomorrow night.

The loss against Dragon Lee didn’t sit well for Dominik Mysterio, as he is still looking forward to snatching the title away. However, that won’t be possible until the visa issues get sorted out. Fans hope to see Lee soon get back in action after he is permitted to travel back to the United States.

Zelina Vega joins Dragon Lee and teases fans with a surprise tomorrow on NXT New Year’s Evil

Just like Dragon Lee, fellow LWO member Zelina Vega also teased fans that a surprise might be waiting for them. The fans have already started wondering what the surprise could be.

With Dragon Lee now being out with visa issues, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro are left with one partner behind. However, fans are now speculating this ‘little secret’ might become the new partner and join the LWO. They will have a 6-man tag team match against Drew Gulak, Miles Borne, and Damon Kemp.

The interesting thing about this mystery partner is that the former client of Zelina, Andrade El Idolo is now a free agent. It would make a lot of sense for Andrade to come back to WWE, as his previous storylines with his then manager. With his wife Charlotte Flair being one of the biggest stars in the company, it will be interesting to see whether Andrade makes his return tomorrow or not.
