The road to WrestleMania closes one more chapter as the Elimination Chamber premium live event comes to an end. The men’s Chamber match had six wrestlers locked in to determine Seth Rollins‘ WrestleMania opponent. After a grueling contest, Drew McIntyre defied the odds by surviving the match and punching his ticket to the Showcase of Immortals.

The Scottish Warrior was one of the two men to start the match and ended up going the distance by winning it. Drew McIntyre pinned Randy Orton after Logan Paul struck The Viper with brass knuckles. In addition to that, the two-time WWE Champion took to X, where he boasted his controversial victory.

The self-proclaimed DM Hunk referred to himself as the “savior” of this year’s WrestleMania. Drew McIntyre believes that the card was not up to par, and that his being in the main event makes it more interesting.

However, many members of the WWE Universe call it a “hypocritical” win due to Paul’s interference in helping McIntyre secure the win. Many believe that if The Maverick would not have interfered, it would have been Randy Orton’s ticket to WrestleMania. The Scottish Warrior and the champion, Rollins, will most likely come face-to-face on Raw, with the latter seemingly cleared for in-ring action.

Can Drew McIntyre replicate his previous success?

Drew McIntyre is no stranger to headlining WrestleMania as the challenger. He slayed the “Beast” Brock Lesnar back in 2020 to win his first WWE championship. The self-proclaimed savior of WrestleMania now has his eyes set on Seth Rollins and the World Heavyweight Championship.

Seth Rollins, who has been out with an injury, made an announcement today on The Grayson Waller Effect. The Visionary announced that he would be cleared to compete in one week. Both Rollins and Drew have a history between them as well. The pair have feuded for the tag titles and even faced each other for the World Heavyweight title on various occasions, with Seth emerging victorious most of the time.

The WWE Universe is firmly behind “The Chosen One” to win his world title in front of a packed crowd. McIntyre won his first title during the COVID era when fans weren’t allowed inside the arena, hence ruining his WrestleMania moment.
