WrestleMania Sunday turned out to be a memorable one as the main event saw the rise of Cody Rhodes against all odds. While Rhodes was able to walk out as the champion from Philadelphia, the same cannot not be said about Drew McIntyre.

The 38-year-old superstar effortlessly won the World Heavyweight Championship by beating the Visionary, Seth Rollins. However, he then went on to crack a couple of jokes and boast himself in front of CM Punk. It led to a vicious beatdown by the Best in the World. The fall of McIntyre gave Damian Priest an opportunity to cash in his Money in the Bank and make history.

McIntyre would later vent his frustration on social media. He replied to the post he made during his match against Seth Rollins while expressing his frustration on getting robbed at the Show of Shows.

The fans on the other hand did not spare McIntyre for his tweet earlier and mercilessly trolled him. With Punk’s involvement in costing him the title, it is likely that the story between the two superstars is far from finished.

CM Punk sends a warning to Drew McIntyre

The dreams of Drew McIntyre walking out as world champion tonight at WrestleMania were crushed by CM Punk. What will go down as one of the most chaotic title matches in WWE history had one of the biggest upsets as well.

The former WWE Champion made sure to cash all his receipts on the Scottish Warrior, as he cost him the World Title on the biggest occasion. Following that, Punk sent a stern warning to McIntyre for the future.

In an interview with ESPN post-WrestleMania, Punk stated that he is going to keep up his shenanigans until the Scottish Warrior becomes a psychopath. He added that the former WWE champion literally prayed for his downfall, to which he gave a stern reply. The Second City Saint made his intentions clear as he told Drew that he should watch out for what he was becoming.

Drew McIntyre prayed for me to be injured. He looked above and said God please take CM Punk out so I can main event WrestleMania 40. I don't pray for things to happen, I make them happen, and I'm gonna keep this up until Drew loses his mind this is my house.

The Best in the World looks to be back in action soon. Until then, he might get involved in the storyline externally. Besides, this message will surely heat the already cranked mood of the 38-year-old. With Punk claiming that he is working to prove WWE his house, it will be interesting to see how this feud between him and McIntyre pans out.
