“He’s a custom-fit for WWE”; Drew McIntyre comments on a $50 million worth Boxer joining WWE
Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre is currently one of the most popular superstars in WWE. The Scottish Warrior is a 2-time WWE champion. McIntyre is currently among the top few superstars in the company. This makes him one of the greatest athletes of the generation.
The Gypsy King, Tyson Fury, is no stranger to the WWE ring. He has already participated in a WWE match at Crown Jewel 2019. Fury knocked out former Universal Champion Braun Strowman and emerged victorious.
Drew McIntyre recently gave an interview to Sportskeeda. The former WWE Champion commented on Tyson Fury’s entry into the WWE. The Superstar praised the Gypsy King’s athleticism and said he was made for a move to WWE.
“Oh, one hundred percent [Fury is perfect for WWE]. Tyson and I not only feud on social media, but we sing together in Cardiff to make sure the fans go home happy, no matter how I personally feel at that moment.”
“You’ve gotta sometimes swallow your pride and make sure the fans are happy. But Tyson gets it, he’s an entertainer, he’s top of his field, and when he chooses to hang up the boxing gloves, he’s very much custom fit for WWE.”

Drew McIntyre vs Tyson Fury is something the WWE Universe is waiting for
WWE recently hosted the ‘Clash at the Castle’ PLE in the United Kingdom. The show featured some big names, making it the best-selling non-WrestleMania event in WWE history.
Also in attendance at the PLE was Tyson Fury. The Gypsy King took an in-depth look at the main event. ‘Clash at the Castle was led by Roman Reigns, who defeated Drew McIntyre to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
But the outcome could have been different if not for Fury. Mr. MITB, Austin Theory, came out during the match to cash in his contract. But Fury knocked him out in the middle of the match before he could cash in his contract.
In the end, after McIntyre’s defeat, Fury came out to congratulate both men. The Gypsy King got the crowd singing “American Pie” and ended the show on a high note.
Since then, fans have been waiting for a match between Fury and McIntyre. If the former two-time heavyweight champion gets a contract with WWE, the dream match could happen one day.
