The Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre just raised the stakes for his match against Seth Rollins on WrestleMania XL Night 2. He put his WWE career on the line and announced that he would leave the company if he doesn’t win against The Visionary. McIntyre’s statement just before their important match increased the anticipation among the fans.
Drew McIntyre made an appearance on WWE World to answer fan questions. During the discussion, he stated that if he couldn’t win his match against Seth Rollins, he had no point in even staying in the company. The announcement was met with a huge shock from the WWE Universe.

The 38-year-old star’s frustration was justified, as he failed to capture a title in front of thousands of fans multiple times. Be it at WrestleMania 37 against Bobby Lashley or on WWE Raw Day 1 against Rollins, despite his valiant efforts, he fell short. However, after a lot of build-in anguish, he started to call out The Architect and CM Punk on social media. McIntyre often boasts about injuring Punk, alluding to the fact that he shattered his WrestleMania dreams.

McIntyre earned the opportunity to face Rollins by defeating five other superstars at the Elimination Chamber. It will be interesting to see whether he manages to fulfill his dream of winning a world title or not. Although he has his focus on The Visionary, he will also keep an eye on CM Punk, who will be on the commentary during the match.
Drew McIntyre takes another shot at CM Punk ahead of his match at WrestleMania 40
Although McIntyre should probably be focusing on his WrestleMania opponent, Seth Rollins, he didn’t miss a chance to take a dig at CM Punk. Going through the problem of not having his gear ready for the Show of Shows, he unexpectedly asked The Second City Saint for help.

McIntyre took to X and addressed the problem, stating that he didn’t have his wrestling gear ready. He added salt to Punk’s wound and asked for his wrestling gear since he couldn’t perform at the Show of Shows. The 45-year-old suffered an injury at the hands of McIntyre during the Royal Rumble match and has been out of action since then.
The Scottish Warrior has been taking several shots at Punk on social media. On a recent episode of Monday Night Raw, he finally returned and engaged in an intense verbal battle. While The Best in the World won’t be able to compete tonight, he will be on the commentary table to call the match between McIntyre and Rollins.
