WWE recently visited India for one of its biggest live events of the year, Superstar Spectacle. One of the big names featured in the event was Drew McIntyre. Before the event, McIntyre was in an interview regarding his experience in India. In the conversation, the Scottish Warrior shed some light on the rumors of him not renewing his contract with WWE.

While speaking with the Hindustan Times, Drew McIntyre addressed the rumors surrounding his contract extension in WWE. He said, “I don’t look to the future, I don’t look to the past, I look to the present.” Furthermore, he went on to say, “I don’t plan to be anywhere else. That’s as much as I can give.” The Scottish Warrior also expressed his love for India, as he had visited the country earlier too.

Drew McIntyre tried to keep everything undisclosed about his contract during the interview.“The internet keeps talking about my future, but my focus is on the here,” he said. The former World Champion was rumored earlier this year to not be interested in renewing his WWE contract. However, the WWE Universe saw him return at Money In The Bank 2023.

Only time will tell if Drew McIntyre renews his contract or not. McIntyre performed in India in a marquee match. He faced Jinder Mahal and Indus Sher in a tag team match with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. It will be interesting to see the next step for the Scottish Warrior amid rumors of his heel turn and contract extension.

During the interview, he answered questions about his interest in cinema and the 38-year-old had some interesting comments.

“If the opportunity arises, I’m always going to explore it,” he said. Moreover, Drew McIntyre also expressed that he is up for a Bollywood role saying, “I’m open to everything.” The Scottish Warrior has left the door open to explore his acting career in Bollywood.

Furthermore, McIntyre also revealed that he is filming a movie in Budapest. He said, “I just had the opportunity to work in a movie in Budapest.” However, he didn’t reveal any such details regarding the movie. Drew McIntyre also expressed his gratitude for his fans in India, as they adore him so much in the country.
