The Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre has been on a roll lately. His character has been getting a lot of praise from the WWE Universe and has been making an impact on the product. With his latest work, it is certain he is going to play a major role on the road to WrestleMania. However, his future with the company still remains uncertain.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Drew McIntyre has not signed a new contract with WWE yet. The rumors of him signing a new contract were debunked by Dave Meltzer.

However, Meltzer has clarified that McIntyre is highly likely to sign a new contract after his satisfaction with the latest bookings.

The answer to that is no he has not signed a new deal, but he seems very happy so far with his new character and he’s really excited about it, and they’re working with the idea that he’s not going anywhere. But nothing’s signed. I think the talk of him taking a lot of time off and everything like that – probably not. He’ll probably sign a new deal. But it’s still just a ‘probable’ until it happens.

Besides, it was previously rumored that the former WWE Champion might have signed a new contract after he was advertised for shows in Europe. Moreover, the 38-year-old superstar has been a major asset to the company. Therefore, it is unlikely WWE would let him go.
