The Scottish Warrior is glad Carmelo Hayes is acting solo now.

Some call him a paragon of hypocrisy, but that doesn’t bother Drew McIntyre in the least. And it appears like the Scot believes in disseminating the art in which he’s a buff. Having said that, the former 2-time WWE Champion recently linked up with NXT’s Carmelo Hayes. The latter posted a selfie with Drew on X and thanked the Scottish Warrior for bestowing some insightful advice on him.
It didn’t take long for McIntyre to respond. He extolled Melo for jettisoning off those 240 lbs. For the unversed, the Raw Superstar shrewdly aimed a dig at Carmelo’s former tag team partner, Trick Williams, whom Hayes betrayed at the Vengeance Day PLE. Trick, a 240-pounder from South Carolina, has been gunning for revenge ever since, and he’ll get to lay hands in an official capacity rather soon.
On April 6 at NXT: Stand & Deliver, Williams and Hayes will go one-on-one. And last night on NXT, Carmelo took the upper hand. The former NXT Champion used guile to deceive the 2023 Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge winner. Melo, like his personally hired security, donned a similar raiment as them and blindsided The Anointed One from behind.
You're looking real good since you've dropped all that weight. About 240lbs wasn't it?Drew McIntyre on X
While Trick was distracted once Melo’s theme played, the latter hoodwinked Williams as he was already standing on the ring apron. And how could Hayes have bottled it up when he had some insightful input from the one and only Drew McIntyre? The Scottish Warrior seems to have instilled levels of viciousness in Carmelo. As much as Drew would be relishing mentally assisting Melo in rendering Trick impotent, he has his woes to take care of.
Drew McIntyre went for it against Seth Rollins on Raw
This week on Raw, Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins once again had a resounding exchange of words. McIntyre asked Rollins to get rid of all the dancing he does before he steps into the ring with him at WrestleMania.
Drew was furious at Rollins’ top-notch priority being shielding Cody Rhodes and pinning Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. However, as McIntyre said, why couldn’t Rollins stick to his actual precedence, which is to only care about defending the World Heavyweight Championship and nothing else?
The Visionary turned the tide on Drew once he called him a “spotlight junkie.” However, a resilient McIntyre vowed to have his WrestleMania moment, which he bloody earned.
