In WWE, a Superstar’s character describes a lot about them. For instance, since becoming the Head of the Table, Roman Reigns has actually attained greatness. Similarly, Drew McIntyre has changed a lot recently and has become a menace to deal with. Despite being involved in a feud with Seth “Freakin” Rollins, he repeatedly takes shots at CM Punk.

As of late, Drew McIntyre has taken multiple shots at the Best in the World on his social media accounts. The Scottish Warrior posted a clip where he was seen flexing his strong triceps muscles and taking shots at the Second City Saint for using “baby” weights ahead of his return on Raw next week. Moreover, the 38-year-old Superstar played Justin Timberlake‘s “Cry Me A River” in the background, referencing his All In backstage scuffle with Jack Perry.

The Chosen One sent a message to his rival by revealing that he would meet him on Raw when the controversial star returns. The plans for CM Punk‘s return have not been unveiled. It is clear that the 44-year-old Superstar is still on his road to recovery, as he himself has stated. The Savior of WrestleMania would be looming on Raw to make sure the returning wrestling veteran doesn’t get a perfect homecoming moment.

Punk wrestled his first televised match at the Royal Rumble. Unfortunately, the Best in the World tore his biceps and got sidelined from in-ring action as a result. McIntyre attacked Punk and toppled him from the Road to WrestleMania. It will be interesting to witness what Phil has to offer for WrestleMania XL, as he is expected to be involved in some capacity at the Showcase of Immortals.

Is CM Punk still a draw in the WWE as he claims he is?

There is no denying that the WWE Universe was flattered to witness the earth-shattering return of CM Punk to the WWE. From viewership to streaming, multiple records were broken after The Voice of the Voiceless returned to the Stamford-based company. That sparks a question, is Punk still a draw with stars like Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes being in the WWE?

WWE Raw next week will emanate from Chicago, IL. Before announcing Punk’s return, WWE sold 11,859 tickets for the show, as per WrestleTix. On March 11th, WWE announced his return, and 2,632 more tickets have been sold since then. As of now, only around 500 tickets remain, which will most likely be sold in the coming days.

Since the return of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, SmackDown has been on a hot streak of complete sellouts. With the hometown hero returning, it seems WWE might eventually sell out the entire arena for their flagship show. This proves that, despite not being active, Punk is still a very big draw for the WWE.
