Jey Uso had a rough night last week on Raw. Just when he came tantalizingly close to dethroning Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship, Jimmy Uso barged in. That saw Jey succumb to The Ring General and end up getting a callous beatdown from Jimmy.
This week, Drew McIntyre approached Jey backstage and said he deserved every bit of what he went through. That instigated a brawl, and the two had to be separated. Next Monday, they’ll go one-on-one. McIntyre has been at loggerheads with Uso ever since he was traded to Raw last year in September. They’ve also had some battles in the meantime, but next week is when things will be at their peak.

Amidst the WrestleMania season, either one losing would be horrendous. On one hand, Drew McIntyre has already booked a date with Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania XL, while Jey, has yet to scout a way to get to Philadelphia.
However, last week’s turn of events suggests that he’ll find himself in a match against his twin brother, Jimmy. It’s been the plan since the fall of last year. WWE officials were in a conundrum back then about whether they should wait until WrestleMania to have The Usos go at each other. Although now it seems as if they’ve made the decision.
A portion of fans has also called for The Usos’ father, Rikishi‘s involvement in the ongoing discord between his sons. Whether that happens or not remains to be seen. Nonetheless, it would be a moment to behold for both Jey and Jimmy when they share the center stage at The Showcase of the Immortals.
Who’s side is Rikishi on between Jey and Jimmy Uso?
The Pops has seemingly sided with the younger lad. Recently, WWE HOF’er Rikishi simply posted ‘Yeet’ on X, implying he’s with “Main Event” Jey Uso in his ongoing saga with Jimmy.

Recently, on the Rikishi Fatu Off The Top Podcast, Rikishi discussed what it’s like to see his sons duke it out in front of a capacity crowd at WrestleMania. The Samoan Stinker also discussed how it would be a cool moment standing across his blood with everyone in a single frame, voicing aspirations for his return.
It would be up to WWE if they’re planning to inculcate the father figure Rikishi or not. Whatever that might be, Jey and Jimmy are destined for that clash, and the elder brother can’t stand with the Yeet Master.
