Dwayne Johnson is one of those rare athletes who have gone on to achieve greatness in every field they step in. Even after switching gears, Dwayne has only grown bigger and better in terms of stardom and popularity.
The former WWE legend who transitioned from being a pro wrestler to an actor, has made it big in the industry. Johnson better known by his ring name The Rock is in full swing these days to promote his upcoming venture- Black Adam.

But the former WWE star has already been part of the Hollywood blockbuster franchises like The Jumanji franchise, and The Fast and The Furious franchise as well.
Johnson’s wrestling background has always helped him to be established as a top action hero in the film fraternity and that is why he is offered top roles in most of the action movies.
Being a professional and veteran at what he does, Johnson is also known to make his co-stars comfortable with him and how he helps them to pull off difficult action sequences with him.
Once, Vanessa Kirby who co-starred with Johnson in Hobbs and Shaw once revealed how in her first shot with Johnson she had to “wrap her legs around his neck” for an action sequence and The Rock being a professional helped her a lot to execute the sequence very well.
While talking about the scene in an interview, Kirby said- “My first day with him involved me wrapping my legs around Dwayne’s neck. It was the most intense introduction to a film ever and also to a person never met him once before. But yeah it was so much fun.”
The scene had an action sequence between the two in which Kirby had to use her thighs to choke out Dwayne Johnson.
The scene ultimately was executed to perfection and became the highlight of the movie. Vanessa also revealed that post filming the scene she jokingly thanked Johnson for “not hitting her back”.
It is obvious that it isn’t easy to be working around an ex-professional wrestler but when it comes to Johnson, he is a master at comforting everyone around him. The film proved to be a global hit as it went on to gross around $760mn around the world and remains one of the highest grossing movies of Dwayne Johnson’s career.
