The former WWE legend who transitioned from being a pro wrestler to an actor, has made it big in the industry. Johnson better known by his ring name The Rock is in full swing these days to promote his upcoming venture- Black Adam.

Dwayne Johnson believes that Conor McGregor has the right “presence” for Hollywood
While Johnson remains one of the most popular ones to step inside the squared circle, there is another person though not from the world of professional wrestling but from MMA that has gained immense popularity and is globally recognised as one of the finest stars from the octagon.
Yes, we are talking about Conor McGregor, who is undoubtedly one of the most talked about stars in UFC. And McGregor fans would be glad to know that Johnson believes that The Irish Superstar has a future in the showbiz industry as well.
In 2018, during an interview with Kiss FM UK The People’s Champ had revealed that McGregor had the right “presence” which could help him make it big in the industry.
Johnson further added that one could learn acting by going to an acting school but presence is something that one is born with and Conor McGregor is born with that presence.
Johnson further heaped praise on the UFC star by saying that he likes him a lot and he has been one of the most polarizing figures of the sports entertainment industry.
Speaking to The Kiss FM Johnson said- “So, I like him a lot. By the way, he’s so polarizing, which makes him great. But at the end of the day, when you strip all that, he’s a promoter, he’s a businessman, he’s a champion, he’s the best on the planet at what he does in MMA. But when you strip all that away, it all comes down to the hard work you put in,”
Dwayne Johnson believes that it is McGregor’s sheer hard work and potential that has helped him to get to the position where he is currently at. Conor McGregor has already started making big moves towards the showbiz industry as he is all ready to star in the Jack Gyllenhaal starrer Road House which is a remake of the 1998 movie of the same name and is scheduled to be released in 2023.
