“We Put In The Work” Dwayne Johnson Reveals His Insane Journey for A Ripped Superhero Physique in Black Adam

Fans widely regard Dwayne Johnson as a Megastar with one of the most intense fitness routines in the world. Often dubbed as the “Hardest Worker in The Room,” the former WWE star gave it all for his ripped physique in DC’s latest anti-hero venture, and his dream project – “Black Adam.”

Johnson took to Instagram to share his journey to his dream physique and how challenging it was to achieve it as he termed it “one of the most grueling , intense, and demanding commitments” of his entire career including football and wrestling which itself require an exquisite level of fitness as well.

Writing a long post, he first thanked his strength and conditioning coach Dave Rienzi and said he closely worked with him to design a year-long roadmap for the physique he wanted to achieve. He termed “Health, wellness, balance, diet, discipline & iron” as the major elements of his strategy.

Johnson also mentioned how he got the padding from the superhero suit removed and put in some real work to fill in the muscle. He wrote in his Instagram post, “We had one shot to establish Black Adam⚡️ as the most powerful and unstoppable force on this planet, so we removed all the muscle padding from my superhero suit ? and we put in the work.”

What Does Dwayne Johnson Likes to Eat in a Cheat Meal?

While, the Black Adam star sweats it hard in the gym, he never misses out on a lip-smacking cheat meal too. In the above-mentioned Instagram post, Dwayne Johnson concluded by noting, “Black Adam loves his Cheat Meals;” which is enough to show that no matter how rigorous the routine is, Cheat Meals hold an important place in The Rock’s heart.

The former WWE Champion has often shares his calorie-loaded cheat meal recipes on social media. This leaves fans awestruck just thinking of how he maintains such a shape while eating thirty pancakes and whatnot in his cheat meal. In a 2021 interview given to Delish, the Johnson revealed that he eats around 8000 calories a day, spread between 5-7 meals and trains rigorously.

Some of the prominent Cheat Meals that Dwayne Johnson loves to have are The Rock Toast (A spinoff version of the French toast), Double Bacon Cheeseburgers, The Sushi Train, Cookies and Pancakes, and what not. Despite being such a foodie, Johnson never fails to put in the hard work.
