Edge consoling AJ Styles' daughter at WrestleMania 38
WrestleMania 38 showcased a dream match between Edge and AJ Styles. It was a bout that fans fantasized about for many years. The Rated-R superstar would end up defeating his opponent in the end. However, this did not sit well with the Phenomenal One’s daughter, as she was heartbroken that her father had lost.
As a result, he had to count on Edge to console her. A video clip of the entire moment was captured backstage. First, it showed the Hall of Famer shaking hands with Styles’ daughter. Afterwards, he told her that they were just having fun in the ring and that there was no harm in any of it. It was a wholesome interaction between the two.
AJ Styles appreciated this gesture and felt it was nice for the 48-year-old to come up and tell his daughter everything was okay. Furthermore, he said, “I couldn’t have done it with anybody but Edge. AJ Styles denies the possibility of wrestling in his 60s
Since his debut in the WWE, AJ Styles has impressed fans with his in-ring ability and athleticism. Despite being 46 years old, he still manages to pull off the same amazing maneuvers he did a decade ago. Recently, in his match against Karrion Kross at last week’s SmackDown, he performed a springboard 450 Splash, which left fans stunned.
A fan account had tweeted, “Unbelievable sight! AJ Styles nailing a 450 Splash at 46, as if it’s nothing. This man could keep rocking this till 60! What a beast.” Several people agreed with this statement and praised the Phenomenal One. However, the former world champion himself denied this claim.
On his X account, he replied to the tweet by saying, “This is completely false. AJ Styles could not wrestle till he was 60.” Along with this was an image of the community note feature, which read, “Readers added context.” Therefore, he confirmed that he would definitely retire before he hits the 60 year-old mark.
