WWE Hall of Famer Edge is the newest addition to the AEW roster. The Rated-R superstar finally put a full stop to all the speculation and rumors as he made his official AEW debut tonight. Following his electrifying debut in the Climate Pledge Arena, Edge sat with CEO Tony Khan in the post-show media scrum. 

Speaking on the media scrum, Edge revealed how he managed to keep his AEW debut a secret. The 49-year-old star noted that he reached Seattle two days before WrestleDream PPV to shoot a video package with Darby Allin. He said, “We were in some sketchy neighborhood, Darby took us to some sketchy place, it was like, nobody here is gonna worry about, like, Adam Copeland is gonna be here kinda thing”, describing the place Darby took him to do the shoot.

Edge shared an amusing anecdote about his debut. He revealed that he was sequestered in a hotel room to keep it a secret. After 14 hours of waiting, he ventured out for food and encountered a young fan at a burger joint. Despite trying to maintain a low profile, the encounter was a humorous reminder of his wrestling fame.

Edge humorously recounted that he gestured for silence to the fan, adding a playful “shhh” to emphasize the secrecy. The fan, in turn, nodded in agreement, ensuring their chance encounter remained confidential until Edge’s electrifying debut at WrestleDream.

Edge gives away a long list of his dream opponents in AEW

After weeks of hearsay and speculations, Adam Edge Copeland finally finds his new home in the form of AEW. The Rated-R superstar is officially All-Elite now. He made his stupendous debut at WrestleDream PPV by coming to the aid of Darby Allin and Sting. The 49-year-old had an intense staredown with his former tag-team partner and the current TNT Champion, Christian Cage.

While speaking on the post-show media scrum, Edge was asked to reveal some of the things from his bucket list he wishes to fulfill in AEW. To which the WWE Hall of Famer revealed a cursory list of opponents, off the cuff, whom he looks forward to square off against in the foreseeable future. 

He said, “I’ve never faced Samoa Joe. That’s really exciting to me! I’ve never faced or been in the same ring as Jon Moxley. Highly interesting to me! Claudio Castagnoli and I have never been in the ring but there’s so many different people here that I have a lot of respect for…Kenny Omega, like that’s never happened. I just met him! We never met before. With Edge finally becoming an All-Elite star, a dozen first-ever dream feuds and matches are on the horizon.
