Edge discussed the possibility of appearing at AEW All In
The future status of Edge has been the talk of the town for the past couple of days. It all started after he announced that his match against Sheamus would seemingly be his final one. As a result, this kicked off speculation among fans that the Rated-R superstar may have decided to jump ship and join AEW.
Furthermore, his debut was pitched to be at the company’s upcoming pay-per-view, All In. However, Edge recently shut down any rumors of signing for the promotion, let alone appearing at Wembley. While speaking on The Fan Morning Show, he addressed the state of his current contract.
“My contract ends at the end of September; this is my last contracted match,” revealed the Hall of Famer. He further mentioned that he wanted to see how his bout against the Celtic Warrior panned out. Finally, the legend stated that his future wasn’t clear to him yet. Therefore, he couldn’t give a proper answer regarding what was next for him.
It made sense to many for Edge to join AEW, as it would reunite him with his longtime friend, Christian, and give them a chance to reunite together. Moreover, an opportunity to wrestle dream matches against the likes of Kenny Omega and CM Punk is always on the cards.
Update on Edge’s future and possible debut in AEW

Edge fought his last match under his current WWE contract on this Friday night’s SmackDown. He defeated Sheamus in a fast-paced encounter in front of his home crowd in Torono. The bout proved that the Hall of Famer still has some fuel left in his tank and can continue for some time.
Recently, Fightful reported that many people backstage in WWE believe that him jumping ship and going to AEW could be a real possibility. Moreover, people close to the Rated-R superstar have claimed that the idea isn’t “as out there as you’d think” and looks plausible.
Although he refuted any rumors of him showing up at All In, a future stint in the promotion cannot be ruled out. It would give the former world champion an opportunity to work with Christian one last time. However, fans may have to wait a while as his current WWE contract expires at the end of September.
