Rematch between Edge and Styles at Backlash

The WrestleMania 38 rematch between Edge and AJ Styles is yet around the corner again when a challenge was issued on Monday Night Raw a couple of weeks back. On 8th May, the audience would be possibly witnessing the third rematch from WrestleMania 38 and the feud between these two WWE superstars are seeming to be never ending.

It was Edge who made the challenge straight to Styles during the Raw episode broadcasted in Buffalo. Though he beat Styles fair and square at The Grandest Stage Of Them All, he wanted to be a serious threat by putting the stake into Styles’ heart and playing mind games. Styles accepted Edges’s challenge and the whole arena light went off suddenly. When the lights turned on, we saw Edge and Damian Priest emerging out of nowhere and started assaulting Styles.

Priest had also been there to help the former WWE champion to win in the match at WrestleMania too. He created a diversion to styles that helped his partner to sneak through the win. Since their rivalry has not ended yet, and it is not expected to be over anytime soon, it is hard to pick a fair winner. Now the question is that whether it is possible that the interventions caused by ringside superstars may affect the match’s quality?

Sure, but when two of the top decorated wrestlers of the last 25 years are there in the ring to face each other, it is not likely to be the same. They both are adamant enough to rise to the occasion and deliver on their promise of a Match of the Year contender. It is also true that the lack of the humongous pressure created by the WrestleMania stage would pave the path for the evolution of a jaw dropping match.

Though the odds are in the favour of Styles in this match, since Edge has already beaten him, but then the recent news of the Judgement Day faction and incorporation of new members of the match are all heading up to the fact that Edge would be able to steal the show yet again with making a 2-0 thumping victory at the end of the show.
