Edge had a special moment on SmackDown this week in front of his home crowd in Toronto. He went one-on-one with the Celtic Warrior Sheamus in his rumored last match. It was also the Hall of Famer’s 25th anniversary, and therefore his family members were present at ringside. Beth Phoenix was interviewed backstage, where she revealed the special preparation that was done ahead of her husband’s monumental moment.
Phoenix revealed that she has prepared special shirts for this moment. The shirt has a graphic of Edge with his mother, Judy Copeland. The Glamazon stated that Judy held an important place in Edge’s life and inspired him to compete and deliver his best performance. However, she passed away in 2018, and so the customized jacket was also a tribute to her.
Beth Phoenix said that she wanted to make Edge feel that his mother is still here watching him on his 25th anniversary. Therefore, she arranged for these custom shirts for their family to remember her on the WWE legend’s special day.
Edge and Beth Phoenix share an inseparable bond, which can be seen in their public interactions. Phoenix later revealed that they have a plan to check out Ketchup Chips in Toronto, which is a Canadian type of chips. She said that their daughters have never tasted it and they are half Canadian.

This match was special for the Rated-R superstar, as he revealed later that it was the last time he wrestled in his hometown of Toronto. Edge received a huge amount of love and support from his fans and other superstars as well.
