Kit Wilson and Elton Prince of Pretty Deadly continued to tease their return on the recent episode of SmackDown. As many might know, a shoulder injury has sidelined the latter since July. For the past few weeks, the pair has put out hilarious video packages showing Elton’s road to recovery.

During last night’s edition, the 26-year-old was shown in a hospital bed, seemingly unconscious. Meanwhile, Kit Wilson looked on with worry for his teammate. Afterwards, the doctor accused Elton Prince of pretending, revealing that he’s made a successful recovery from the separated shoulder.

In reply, Kit Wilson tried to prove her wrong by performing a series of hilarious tests on his tag team partner. At the end, the SmackDown superstar embraced his partner after Prince miraculously “woke up” from his coma. Therefore, it appears that the pair is supposedly very close to an in-ring return. “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger,” said Wilson in reference to Elton Prince’s road to recovery.

The Brawling Brutes pair of Butch and Ridge Holland watched the video packages backstage. Therefore, they are likely to be Pretty Deadly’s first opponents once they come back. In fact, Elton Prince’s injury originated during a tag team match against the same duo in July. Since their debut on the main roster, they have impressed with their cunning character display and in-ring work.

Kit Wilson and Elton Prince’s run in the WWE so far

Pretty Deadly arrived in WWE in 2019. The tag team consisting of Kit Wilson and Elton Prince debuted on NXT UK and took little time to solidify themselves as a viable threat. They held the brand’s tag team titles for a total of 287 days, feuding against the likes of Moustache Mountain.

Afterwards, they shifted to the Gold brand and won the NXT Tag Team Championships in their debut bout. Throughout their run, Pretty Deadly received praise from fans for their character work and wrestling skills, with many lauding the team for their chemistry. Wilson and Prince were moved to SmackDown during the 2023 Draft.

The duo defeated The Brawling Brutes on their main roster debut on the May 19 edition of the show. A month later, Pretty Deadly squared off against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the Undisputed titles. However, they ended up losing and failed to capture the gold.
