The WWE Universe was surprised to see Emma back to the WWE. Emma has made her comeback to the WWE after 5 years and answered the challenge by Ronda Rousey. The match saw Emma nearly win the SmackDown Women’s Championship but The baddest Woman on the planet locked her into the Armbar at the end to secure the win.

As of now, we don’t know whether Emma is going to be a regular and integral part of the WWE, but if she does, we hope that her current run in the company will be handled very well.

Emma had made her WWE debut on the NXT brand and had reached the finals of the NXT Women’s Championship tournament but was defeated by Paige. She pursued for the NXT Women’s Championship several times but failed to win it.

Thereafter, she made her main roster debut, but her main roster run wasn’t as successful as her run in NXT, and she was never seen as a main eventer or a championship material. She got her only chance to win the RAW Women’s Championship at No Mercy 2017. She failed to win the championship at the event.

She departed from the WWE in October 2017 and made her return on this week’s Friday night Smackdown after five years. After the performance, Emma bumped into Megan Morrant backstage, where she proclaimed her joy at returning to the WWE and claimed to know precisely what should to be done to win the title.

“Can’t tell you how good it feels to be back. I waited five years for tonight … five years to make sure that I’m never forgotten again. And now, I know exactly what I have to do to be the champion.”

Emma was dismissed from the WWE in October 2017 due to a disagreement with the WWE writers. Prior to her release, she complained on Twitter about her booking in the company, as well as her hatred of her Emmalina gimmick and unwillingness to perform with it. As a result, WWE decided to pull the plug on her.

After getting released from the WWE, she wrestled around the independent circuit and was also a part of Ring of Honor from 2018 to 2019. Emma also wrestled at Impact Wrestling from 2019 to 2022. In recent times, she had formed an alliance with Madison Rayne, and they called themselves Influence. In July, she competed in her final match at Impact Wrestling, which she lost to Masha Slamovich.
