Former TBS Champion Jade Cargill is one of the biggest WWE signings in recent years. However, fans have been wondering how she is using her AEW name in the Stamford-based promotion. Recently, WWE legend Eric Bischoff talked about Jade Cargill in a podcast and called her an interesting exception.

While speaking on 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff stated the rarity of superstars competing under their real names. The WWE veteran went on to reveal that anything like this hasn’t happened in decades of professional wrestling. “I think that’s very interesting, and it definitely breaks the paradigm. That is not what WWE normally does over the decades. It’s fascinating to me,” he said.

Furthermore, Eric Bischoff went on to say that WWE wants to merchandise Cargill’s name and make it a brand for themselves. “There’s no gimmick attorney, Mike Dockins, trademark, or copyright issues. But the point is, typically, WWE wants to own that name. They want to merchandise that name,” he said.

Jade Cargill is an incredible talent. She has been acclaimed as a once-in-a-generation athlete by a number of professional wrestling veterans. The former AEW superstar recently made her WWE appearance backstage at Fastlane and NXT. It looks like Cargill’s main roster debut is just on the horizon.

Jade Cargill revealed the reason behind using her real name in WWE

Jade Cargill is an extremely talented superstar who has made a name for herself in the world of professional wrestling. She is a former TBS Champion and was a top star in All Elite Wrestling. Recently, she revealed the actual motivation behind using the same name in WWE that she used in AEW.

In an interview with The Ringer Wrestling Show, the 31-year-old revealed that keeping her name was an important decision before she signed with WWE. “I built equity into it, and I’ve done outside PR. I put life into my name, so that’s something that I didn’t want to let go,” she said.

Jade Cargill is yet to make her main roster debut in WWE. She made a few appearances at shows like Fastlane and NXT this week. She is all set to make her in-ring appearance very soon. It will be interesting to see her going up against stars like Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair in WWE.
