Former Wyatt Family member breaks his silence for the first time, pens a heartfelt message for Bray Wyatt
Bray Wyatt's very close friend Erick Rowan wrote about his experience with the Wyatt Family as he poignantly expressed his emotions.

The late WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt was an incredible human being. His demise hit the wrestling industry hard, including his family and friends. One of Bray Wyatt’s longtime friends recently expressed his grief over the sudden demise of the Eater of Worlds. Former Wyatt Family member Erick Rowan penned a heartfelt message for his good friend.
Rowan was one of the closest people to Bray Wyatt. He broke his silence for the first time through an Instagram post, where he posted a picture of The Wyatt Family. He wrote, “For when I think of Windham It makes me think of Jon then the reality of the cr*zy truth that they are no longer with us.” Erick Rowan also mentioned Jon Huber, a.k.a. Luke Harper, who passed away in 2020.
Erick Rowan revealed that horror movies and music made him and Bray so close to each other. Rowan reminisces about his experience in FCW with his friends Windham Rotunda and Jon Huber. The former Wyatt Family member also mentioned Braun Strowman in his words, as he says, “Eventually, this family grew with the introduction of Adam. As did our love for one another.”
The Wyatt Family was an important aspect of the careers of all the superstars who were in the faction. Erick Rowan was on the special tribute episode of SmackDown by WWE last week. Rowan shared a very deep relationship with Bray Wyatt. He poignantly expressed his grief for the 36-year-old.
WWE’s orginal plans for Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss
After the return of The Eater of Worlds at Extreme Rules 2022, fans were excited to see his direction. Bray Wyatt was heavily featured on television after his return. Recent reports reveal that there were huge plans for Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss on WWE television.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE had some interesting plans for Wyatt heading to WrestleMania 39. Bray was originally to face Uncle Howdy at Mania, which would have involved Alexa Bliss. Uncle Howdy was an integral part of Bray’s storyline. Furthermore, Bliss was all set to return to her former gimmick with Wyatt.
All these plans were scrapped after Wyatt went on hiatus during WrestleMania 39 weekend. Following that, Bliss’ plans were snubbed as well. While fans were expecting to see the cult leader make his return, the very unfortunate news of Bray Wyatt’s sudden demise broke the hearts of the pro wrestling world.
