Who better than famed striker Erling Haaland to promote Manchester City FC‘s upcoming United States tour? However, one did not expect it to get mingled with WWE legend John Cena. Recently, Man City’s official X handle released a minute-long clip. In it, the Norwegian footballer could be seen taking up a video call from the 16-time World Champion.
Initially, Erling couldn’t see his “secret super fan” Cena as the latter didn’t turn on the camera. Anyway, the wrestler-turned-actor asked Haaland about Man City’s US tour. In response, the 23-year-old confirmed that the Premier League side would be visiting New York, Chapel Hill, Columbus, and Orlando. In the meantime, John Cena was cavorting but things went south for the Peacemaker star once his web camera opened up.

Cena, visibly incognizant of it, sat down while exposing his blonde wig to Erling Haaland. The Terminator’s eyes grew agape. He asked John to stop doing this, insinuating how weirdly he was dressed. The Franchise Player agreed. The clip, which was a minute and four seconds in length to be precise, came to a close as Cena strolled out of the camera’s sight.
But before it wrapped up, Erling did say that Cena’s hair looked good. That was one fine way to market the football club’s foray into the United States for the pre-season. The Cenation Leader was recently engrossed in a promotional tour of his own. Ricky Stanicky hit the theatres on March 7.
And for that, Mr. Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect went all out. He even opened an OnlyFans account where one day or another, the part-time WWE Superstar was doing stuff that wasn’t on anyone’s bucket list. Cena’s longtime friend Randy Orton also offered to collaborate and John seemingly agreed.
John Cena is waiting for his call to make WrestleMania 40
With just under three weeks to spare until WrestleMania 40, the WWE Universe is all but cynical of John Cena’s potential role. Though he’s currently not scheduled for it, he’s been reported to make a cameo appearance at The Show of Shows.

Things gained steam once he declared that he was free that night while appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Not only that, but the 47-year-old teased a potential run-in with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
Supposedly, the face that once ran this place would end up aiding Cody Rhodes in his quest to finish his story. That’s nothing more than a fanatic perspective and the avid WWE followers hope to see it.
