Ezekiel and Shawn Michaels
Ezekiel has been one of the best things that has happened to WWE in recent years. Ezekiel’s current gimmick was under doubt whether it would be loved by the WWE Universe or not, but it has won everyone over fast. The identity crisis issue, the hysterical denial again and over, callback to Elias being interrupted so Ezekiel interrupts everyone else, the promos, and even his appearance have impressed the WWE Universe. He has a lot of enthusiasm in the ring and has that 80s bodybuilder appearance. The audience is also behind him.
Ezekiel also known as Jeffrey Daniel Sciullo was signed to WWE in 2014 and made his in-ring debut for WWE on NXT Brand in 2015. He had established a heel persona on the NXT Brand. He wrestled at the NXT Brand until march 2017 and then made his main roster debut in April 2017. Since then, he has been a 4-time 24/7 Champion and has got several chances to fight for the major Championships in WWE. The WWE has awarded him Breakout Superstar of the year for the year 2018.

Ezekiel began his gimmick as Elias’ brother in April 2022
Following the breakup with Ryker, Elias feuded with him briefly until the July 19 episode of Raw, when Ryker triumphed in a match between the two, thereby ending the feud. Thereafter WWE broadcast sequences in August in which Elias burnt his instrument, thereby terminating his musician role.
In April 2022, on an edition of RAW, Elias returned as “Ezekiel,” to WWE. This seemed to be a babyface, unveiling a look that included a clean shaved face, shorter hair, and trunks. He claimed to be Elias’ younger brother and in the following weeks He began a feud with Kevin Owens, Kevin refused to accept Ezekiel is Elias’s brother and believes that both are the same person. Both Owens and Ezekiel were slated to face each other at Hell in a Cell where he was defeated by Kevin.
Both Elias and Ezekiel reunited in a digitally altered backstage scene on the June 20 edition of Raw. Later that night, Elias seemed to give a concert before being cut off by Kevin Owens. Owens, still unable to accept that the brothers were distinct persons, challenged Ezekiel, Elias, or even younger sibling “Elrod” to a wrestling bout.
Ezekiel recently appeared on KTAL news and said that He would love to go one on one against his brother Elias at WrestleMania, when asked about his dream match. He also said that he would love to face Shawn Michaels in his dream match as Shawn has been his favorite wrestler.
“There’s a couple, one, I would love to go one-on-one with my brother [Elias]. I think it would be just a dream match, me and him, at WrestleMania, in front of the world. That would be incredible. On top of that though, I got to say, Shawn Michaels was always my favorite wrestler. The Heartbreak Kid, so that is a dream match for sure,”.
