2023 has been a year of newborns in the families of the WWE Superstars. It seems another family has been added to the list. In the same current, the Ring General, Gunther, and former NXT UK Superstar, Jinny, announced the birth of their son. Since then, fans and fellow superstars have been heaping heartfelt congratulatory messages on the couple.

In a tweet on December 28th, fans can see Gunther with his wife and the newborn in their hands. Both have a look of joy and satisfaction on their faces. Gunther even called it a moment of blessing for them. However, they have not yet revealed the name of their son.

Fans finally have the answer to why Gunther has taken time off for the foreseeable future. The formidable Intercontinental Champion has been on a fantastic run, and it seems he has another reason to recall 2023 as a memorable year. For those who don’t know, Jinny was a NXT UK Superstar who rose to prominence around 2017–18. She announced her in-ring retirement in January 2023.

The couple tied the knot in May 2023. Many superstars from NXT, like Tiffany Stratton, were invited to the wedding. Several viral clips also surfaced online, one of which even showed the Ring General throwing some moves on the dance floor.

It seems the responsibility of fatherhood has been bestowed on the strong shoulders of the Ring General. Fans are eager to see what 2024 has in store for the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion of WWE.

The wrestling community has been eagerly waiting for more updates once they learned about the birth of the Ring General, Gunther, and his wife Jinny’s first child. Fans have poured their hearts out as they reacted to the post of Gunther with his wife and child.

Many have congratulated Triple H for being an understanding boss. Others have pondered what name the newborn would get. Many even went silly by discussing hypothetical possibilities of him possibly dethroning his own father or even throwing chops at a young age. The reactions can be seen below.

The past few months have witnessed multiple births in the extended family of the WWE roster. Former Women’s Champions, Alexa Bliss and Carmella are two of those names. Hopefully, Gunther will be able to enjoy some time with his son; however, the responsibility of carrying the Intercontinental title will bring him soon to the squared circle.
