Pro-wrestling and MMA still see Matt Riddle as a draw after his release due to constant misbehavior.

The Original Bro Matt Riddle became a victim of the release process and made it to the undesirable list. WWE released the former US Champion with other known names as a part of the post-merger talent cuts. Ever since he has been hinting at his future endeavors unrelated to wrestling. However, reports suggest that other companies like to have Riddle work with them whether it be pro-wrestling or MMA.
Wrestling Observer Newsletter broke the news of Matt’s need after he was no longer with WWE. The interest mostly came in from the rival promotions who saw Riddle to be a draw for them. While also the demand from, MMA, both PFL and Bare-Knuckle Fighting wanted The Original Bro to remember his roots.
His tenure in UFC and Bellator MMA has been well recognized and gave him the platform to outshine as a fighter. His path then changed in 2014 as he wished to have a wrestling career that kicked off from Monster Factory in Paulsboro. A few years later, NXT saw the spark in him and took him to the top. Ever since then he rose to his prominence and became a huge name in the main roster until 2023.
His release was majorly because of his intoxicating behavior that put him into trouble many times. Matt’s addiction to drugs has seen him getting into rehabilitation in order to continue being in the company. But the wave of talent cuts was a reason for Riddle’s farewell.

WWE fans have shown their funny bone while commenting on reports related to Matt Riddle. The post shared by WrestlePurists became a home to fans’ reactions as they saw other companies being interested in signing Matt after his release from WWE. Most of them came out as a troll for The Original Bro.
Riddle’s last run in WWE saw him being a tag team partner with Drew McIntyre. Plans were laid down for The Scottish Warrior and his union to take on the tag team division as they did with RK-Bro. But an unexpected move as a part of the talent cuts took away the chances of a highly entertaining storyline.
