REVEALED: Huge update over Edge returning to WWE; possible plans for SummerSlam reportedly revealed
Fans wonder when the Edge will return to the show.
Edge, the 48 year old wrestler, had returned to the WWE ring after a gap of 10 years in 2020. He took a backseat in 2011 owing to several injuries. It took him 10 years to finally overcome them and retuen to the ring at the 2020 Royal Rumble.
He has a large number of records and championships on his name and is in the WWE Hall of Fame. He is not someone to give up to his injuries.
Edge to return on Monday Night RAW?
Its been over a month since we last saw Edge in the WWE ring. His faction, The Judgement Day had turned their backs on him and he’s out of action since then. Fans are expecting his return at the SummerSlam.
According to a report by Sean Ross Sapp, the Rated R Superstar would be back at the next RAW episode at Madison Square Garden. This is not yet officially declared but there is a huge possibility for the same. The celebrity will take revenge on his former faction, the Judgement Day as soon as he returns.
Meanwhile, in the absence of Edge from the ring, RAW has been witnessing several errie vignettes. These videos take us back to the time where went as Bray Wyatt and returned as The Fiend. Fans are expecting something creepy after watching these videos.
Some die-hard fans believed that it was a callback to the Hardy Boyz, Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero. All these superstars are the famous rivals of the Edge. Sean Ross Sapp confirmed that the video is indeed for Edge and their purpose was to present before the audience, “high-profile rivals over the last 24 years”.
WWE has not officially confirmed any such news of Edge returning to Monday Night RAW or to SummerSlam. RAW neither stopped to show the vignette. The last episode of Monday Night RAW, the vignette showcased Randy Orton, John Cena and Mick Foley. This has made the audience reach the conclusion that the Rated R Superstar can return at any episode of the WWE.
