Bryan Danielson is currently considered arguably the greatest technical wrestler in the world. The American Dragon has been a vital part of the AEW roster ever since his debut in 2021. Prior to that, he achieved greater heights in the WWE as well. Danielson has been producing classic matches whenever he steps inside the squared circle. His AEW run so far has been decent enough, to say the least. At the AEW Revolution PPV, Bryan was set to compete for the AEW World Championship.

Bryan Danielson faced off against AEW World Champion MJF in a 60-minute Ironman match. Prior to the match, The American Dragon has been constantly describing the AEW World Title win as a milestone in his wrestling career that he wants to reach. During the Ironman match, Bryan scored the first fall and was going strong on the path to capture the title.

However, MJF quickly turned the tables, and the 60-minute span ended with both men having three falls each. With the match ending in a draw, it had to be restarted under sudden death rules. Eventually, MJF captured the victory and retained the title.

The emotional promo on Dynamite ended with Danielson saying, “It’s time for me to go home.” Fans will have to wait to find out the meaning behind Bryan’s statement.
