It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Drew McIntyre had the best and worst moments of his career on Night 2 of WrestleMania XL. Although he won the World Heavyweight Championship from Seth Rollins, he lost it in just under 5 minutes to MITB winner Damian Priest. Many fans believe it was his cockiness during the match that cost him the title. 

It was amazing from start to finish, as both superstars tried to finish the match as soon as possible, bringing out their finishing maneuvers from the get-go. Most notably, Drew McIntyre showed his overconfidence by grabbing his phone to tweet in the middle of the match. Finally, after a brutal encounter, McIntyre finally defeated Seth Rollins and completed his dream of winning a title in front of a packed arena.

After he won the match, he shifted his attention towards an ‘injured’ CM Punk, who was on commentary during their match. The Scottish Warrior thought it was a good idea to go into the face of The Best in the World and mock him. Well, that didn’t turn out well for him, as Punk gave the WWE Universe a surprise and attacked the new champion.

Drew’s night went from bad to worse as MITB winner Damian Priest cashed in his contract. The Judgment Day member became the new World Heavyweight Champion after multiple cash-in failures. It will be interesting to see what’s next for Drew McIntyre after the heartbreak at WrestleMania.
