The go-home episode of Monday Night Raw before Elimination Chamber 2024 was no less than a PLE. The stacked match card had the audience on their toes right from the start to the end. The second last WWE program before they head to Australia for their PLE was a delight to watch. Adding to it was a beautiful shot from the show that stood out and showed the tremendous view of the Honda Center.
In order to put over the Honda Center for their 5-year deal to host WWE and UFC events, an angle from the arena’s East entrance was displayed. This showed how creative WWE is getting with their filming techniques under the new regime of producers. The new shots and added graphics have been inculcated since the departure of Kevin Dunn from the company, whose production was responsible for broadcasts.
Dunn, who is stated to be Vince McMahon‘s close friend, resigned last December and gave WWE the leeway to try new things. It has been known that the 40-year-veteran went by the traditional methods of broadcast and limited production. However, things are booming now, bringing back freshness to WWE.
In the past months, WWE has shown camera angles placed on the corner and offered an intriguing look. The graphics roll in on our screen during the superstar’s entrance and offer their unique introduction. More video graphics had ‘Big’ Bronson Reed‘s King Kong-esque walk through the buildings that get displayed right before his entrance. Overall, WWE has levelled up its production since Dunn has left.
WWE Universe rejoices over the refreshing angles on Monday Night Raw
The departure of Kevin Dunn has brought innovation back to WWE. Ever since his resignation, Raw and SmackDown have brought about changes in their production with the addition of impressive graphics and camera angles. The February 19, 2024, episode of Raw gave a great example of that change.
From the East entrance of Honda Center in Anaheim, WWE panned the camera into the arena. This was done in order to promote the arena coming from a solid TKO deal having WWE and UFC events in it. WWE Universe enjoyed the perspective of that sequence and showed their reactions to their production.
Apart from this mind-blowing shot, Raw was filled with yet another remarkable moment. The starting bout saw a long-fought, fierce battle between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre. The main event saw the Intercontinental Championship kept on line by Gunther against Jey Uso. The result of this match had the commonality of The Bloodline interference to cost the babyface stars their respective matches.
