Finn Balor wants to fight the WWE Hall of Famer, says he is “DYING FOR” the match to happen
Finn Balor in WWE.
Finn Balor has one of the best sculpted bodies in the WWE and has had a decent career in the company but hasn’t won the world title since 2016. Finn Balor unfortunately had to withdraw the WWE Universal Championship in just one day since he had suffered a shoulder dislocation injury during the match.
Balor hasn’t been able to win the Championship since then, even though he got chances, with the most recent being at the last year’s WWE Extreme Rules against Roman Reigns. Finn Balor has expressed his desire to fight Roman Reigns again for a title match as he feels that the ending to their match at the extreme rules had been suspicious.
Finn Balor is now enjoying his time in the Judgment Day and the faction is currently involved in a rivalry with Rey Mysterio and Edge. Even though The Judgment Day lost to Rey Mysterio and Edge in the Clash at the Castle, they gained a new member of their Stable that day in the form of Rey’s son Dominik Mysterio.
This week on RAW, Dominik Mysterio was introduced by the Judgment Day and Finn Balor and Damien Priest attacked Edge, who was saved by Mysterio then. During a recent interview with Inside the Ropes, Finn Balor said that when Edge retired, he was kind of disappointed with the fact that his encounter against Edge would never happen ever but when The Rated R Superstar returned at the Royal Rumble his interest in fighting Edge was reignited.
Balor said that even though they have had few interactions and run ins, he hopes that the singles match between him and Edge would take place and he is dying for it to occur. Edge recently defeated Damien Priest in a singles match on RAW in his hometown in Toronto, Canada.
“Oh, I hope so, yeah I hope so [If we’re heading into Balor vs. Edge]. So, like, from a personal standpoint, when Edge retired, I was, you know, disappointed at the fact that you know, that match will never happen. When he returns, you know, Royal Rumble a couple years ago, kind of like that spark was kind of reignited. But we’ve had a couple interactions with run ins and stuff like that. But yeah, hopefully we can get to that singles match with Edge, that’s something that I’m dying for.”
Finn Balor discusses why Bullet Club is different from the Judgment Day
During his time at the NJPW, Finn Balor had been a part of the well-known stable of the promotion The Bullet Club. Balor rose to prominence by being the part of the club and had been the part of the promotion until his resignation from the NJPW.
So, Finn Balor definitely has an experience of being in a stable and in the same interview with Inside Ropes, Finn Balor spoke about the differences between Bullet Club and The Judgment Day.
Finn Balor said that Judgment Day is very different from the Bullet Club and is a very refreshing experience for him. Finn Balor stated that the fact that The Bullet Club is not the same as Judgment Day is a good thing and that he is more artistically fulfilled in the WWE today than he has been in a long time. Finn Balor stated that he enjoys expressing himself as a heel every time he gets out there.
