Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has been one of the top superstars in professional wrestling in recent times. However, WWE had once released him in 2014. The Scottish Warrior then went on a journey to reinvent himself, which allowed him to achieve greater heights in his career. Recently, McIntyre revealed that WWE uses him as a prime example to inspire superstars after their release from the company.

While speaking to ‘Good Karma Wrestling’, Drew McIntyre revealed that WWE tells people who get released to “Do a Drew” for them to follow in his footsteps and reinvent themselves. McIntyre said:

You have to go out there and reinvent yourself, grow your brand, and make yourself more valuable. I believe that’s the advice that the company literally gives people [‘Do a Drew’] and some of the Superstars that are released come to me to ask for advice.

Drew McIntyre is a trailblazer in terms of reinventing and re-establishing yourself. A former WWE champion stated that by redesigning yourself, you make more value out of yourself, which is beneficial in the long term. McIntyre had a lackluster career before 2014. Back then, WWE released him due to budget cuts. He made his triumphant return to the company in 2017 on NXT.

He then went on to achieve glory on NXT, only to get a blockbuster return to the main roster. McIntyre then went on to headline WrestleMania, becoming the top face of the company. McIntyre is currently in a match against Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel for the World Heavyweight Championship. He has been teasing a heel turn for a long time. It is going to be interesting to see if Crown Jewel will be the place for the anticipated turn-on fans.

In Good Karma Wrestling, Drew McIntyre talked about WrestleMania in the UK. He stated that it would be a good deal for the business. However, it would be a delight for the fans. McIntyre added:

The idea of a mania is very much possible. I know how successful it would be for the company, but I also know how amazing it would be for the fans. I know how much fun it would be for everyone around the world to watch because we know how crazy, fun, and wild the UK fans are.

McIntyre headlined the last WWE event that took place in the UK. He may headline WrestleMania in the UK if it happens. Moreover, Drew McIntyre was positive regarding the possibility of WrestleMania in the UK. The possibility was also addressed by John Cena at Money in the Bank earlier this year.
