Dave Bautista is remembered as a massive tattoo freak, with those inked inscriptions covering nearly the whole of his body. When asked about it, the former WWE Superstar stated their origins and even addressed some of them as cover-ups for his mistakes. One such cover-up on his left hand is of a team’s logo, which he got into an issue with later as the leader came out as an anti-gay person. And he ended his friendship with him.
Earlier this year, in January, Bautista was seen breaking down his tattoos in a video by GQ. There he stated a cover-up for his tattoo on his left arm that came as a result of his friends’ disrespectful act. Dave did not state his name clearly but criticized Manny Pacquiao for his homophobic comments, which he felt were personal as his mother is a lesbian. The tattoo had Pacquiao’s team logo, but he covered it up after his extreme anti-gay statements.
Dave Bautista stated that he earlier considered Manny to be a good friend and looked up to him. Until he came out publicly as a homophobe and developed an issue with Bautista. The former WWE Superstar even stated that his other cover-ups were the names of his ex-wife and ex-girlfriends. He jokingly stated that his mother warned him not to inscribe a woman’s name, but he didn’t listen and learned a lesson afterward.
The Animal surprisingly stated that he has only three tattoos, but all three look gigantic as they are interconnected. He then stated that every time he went on hiatus from WWE, he used to get a new tattoo as he had sufficient time to get it healed. Dave specifically stated that his back has gone through 50 hours of inscription through these implicit breaks in between. He then said the essence of his tattoos is a story that he tells through each inscription.

Batista’s last match in WWE came against Triple H
Batista is one of the wrestling legends who inspired new-age talents with his wholesome physique. Having started his WWE career in 2002, he wrestled his last match with his former Evolution stablemate, Triple H. The Animal had his last match at The Grandest Stage of Them All in a No Holds Barred match.
As the stage was set at MetLife Stadium for WrestleMania 35, the wrestling legends gave a nerve-wracking match to the WWE Universe. The hardcore style of wrestling did justice to the stipulation of this matchup. The wrestling in it seemed weird, but brutality touched the sky upon multiple weapons’ usage.
Although that was Batista’s last match in WWE, he sadly lost it while suffering the wrath of The Game. The Animal’s performance was appreciated by the audience for outdoing himself after years of wrestling in the WWE ring. Long story short, The Altered Beast received a strong farewell with memorable bruises.
