NXT superstar Gigi Dolin came up short against Blair Davenport in the first week of NXT: Halloween Havoc. However, on the flip side, things are going very well for the former NXT Tag Team Champion in real life. Gigi Dolin exultantly announced her engagement to controversial ex-WWE superstar Zachary Wentz at the Disney Wish Cruise.

The 26-year-old recently took to Instagram and shared the happy news of her engagement with Wentz. Dolin also noted that she has been a Disney fan since her childhood. She further added that Disney holds a lot of fond memories of her family and nostalgia for her. Thus, getting engaged on a Disney Wish Cruise was a dream come true, per the NXT star.

While sharing the happy news, the 26-year-old also let it out that the couple had been through a lot of heartache and suffering over the past few years. Nonetheless, the couple has been rock-solid since finding each other’s support through thick and thin. An elated Gigi Dolin expressed her feelings in the caption of the post.

Zachary Wentz, formerly known by the ring name Nash Carter, signed with WWE back in 2020. He made his debut on NXT alongside former NXT North American Champion and his tag team partner, Wes Lee. Two years later, Wentz was controversially released by WWE. The Impact superstar got engaged to current WWE superstar, Gigi Dolin earlier this week.

Back in 2022, the current Impact superstar found himself in an inescapable situation after his ex-wife made a series of allegations against Wentz. His divorced wife, Kimber Lee, revealed on her social media that the Impact superstar has caused emotional and physical torment to the former during their marriage.

Furthermore, she also released a photo of the ex-WWE superstar doing a Nazi salute. Despite grave allegations from his wife, WWE remained tight-lipped and kept the superstar on television. However, once the Hitler-esque image surfaced on social media, the company wasted no time in releasing the superstar from his contract. The 29-year-old is currently with Impact Wrestling.
