“I’m still waiting for that one [call] to happen one of these days”, Goldberg expects to return to WWE soon
Goldberg is ready to return to the ring as soon as he gets a call.
Goldberg is over 55 years of age. Yet, his age does not allow him to take a toll on his health. Officially retired, he makes his WWE return as exciting as possible in all the major events that happen over the year.
Goldberg was seen in the WWE ring in 2004 and then made a massive comeback in 2016 for the 2k17 video game. It was at this time that the then hot topic Brock Lesnar and Goldberg engaged in several insults on social media. Paul Heyman challenges him for a fight with Brock Lesnar to take revenge for his defeat in WrestleMania XX.
Goldberg ready to return to the WWE ring
Accepting Paul Heyman’s challenge, Goldberg made an appearance on a RAW episode. After that he appeared at many of the WWE Pay Per View events. Not just the appearance, but he has won the WWE Universal Championship. In an interview with the New York Times with respect to his contract status, he replied,”still hasn’t gotten cut on because you never know when the phone’s gonna ring.”
Goldberg had during one of his matches teased his retirement saying, “I’ve got a job to do and it could be my last in a WWE ring”. After that he was also a part of the Elimination Chamber where he lost to Roman Reigns. It was highly expected after this that it was the last of his matches in the WWE universe.
However Goldberg has clarified that he has cleared the number of matches that he has signed for the WWE. To keep his huge fan following waiting for his match, he added that he is still signed to WWE.
These rumours before a big paper view has increased the hopes of the fans for his entry in the ring. He does not let his health take a toll on his career.
