Moroever, the Intercontinental Champion is on hiatus due to his becoming a parent.

Gunther might miss Royal Rumble 2024

Gunther is one of the top names in WWE right now. He has been an incredible asset to WWE. Last year, Gunther delivered an outstanding performance in the Royal Rumble match. However, the Ring General might miss out on the Royal Rumble 2024 this year, ruling out his possibility of winning the traditional match.

The Ring General recently became a parent with his wife Jinny. He has been out of action for the same reason. Therefore, it is highly possible that he might take paternity leave in order to take care of his newborn child. In the US, paternity leave is around 2 to 12 weeks long.

This speculation rules out the possibility of Gunther competing in the Royal Rumble match. He was one of the prominent contenders to win the traditional Royal Rumble match. However, it will be captivating to see how long the Ring General is out of action amid the time of WrestleMania in WWE.
