The Ring General Gunther currently sits on the throne of the Intercontinental Championship’s legacy. His title run has already made him the longest-reigning IC champion of all time. As of now, he has passed the 556 days mark and survived the whole year with multiple title defenses. As Gunther now enters 2024 with prestige, he answered a burning question regarding his opponent at WrestleMania 40.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, The Ring General expressed his desire to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 2024. Gunther stated how people perceive him as the ‘end boss’ of WWE due to his sheer dominance. But when it comes to the perfect end boss, the 36-year-old sees Lesnar at that stage. Gunther showed the need to prove himself in front of The Beast Incarnate in the coming time.

The Imperium leader does not know when this legendary bout can happen but expects WrestleMania 40 to be the stage. He mentioned seeking out a certain one and accepting whosoever comes his way. But now that he has come a long way in this reign, he is excited to lock horns with The Conqueror.
