Mercedes Mone made her much-anticipated debut on AEW at the Big Business event. She has a lot of friends in WWE and is often spotted with them at different events. WWE superstars Bayley, Naomi, and Tamina Snuka decided to support her by hilariously entering the arena.

Naomi, who recently made her return to WWE, took to X and shared a funny video with Bayley and Tamina Snuka. In the video, they wore beanies on their heads to hide their identity, so fans couldn’t spot them in the arena. However, they were unsuccessful in their attempt, as the camera spotted the ‘Role Model’ watching Mone’s promo as the audience.

The 32-year-old star was emotional while addressing her hometown crowd. However, Mone wasn’t there to just express her gratitude; she was there to take care of unfinished business. The ‘CEO’ directly called out Willow Nightingale, who defeated her in the finals of the tournament to crown the first-ever Strong Women’s Champion.

The Role Model recently won the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match and will challenge her former best friend, Iyo Sky. She suffered a brutal betrayal by all of her friends and is now all alone in her battle. It will be interesting to see whether Bayley dethrones Sky at WrestleMania and destroys the faction she created, Damage CTRL.

AEW star Ruby Soho praises Bayley ahead of WrestleMania 40

AEW superstar Ruby Soho had nothing but praise for Bayley for the time she spent with her at a Stamford-based company. She shed light on her relationship with the Role Model in an interview ahead of her match at WrestleMania 40.

The former member of Outcasts spoke with Bakers Bantering and said that she was fortunate to call Bayley her friend. Soho further added that during her time in WWE, she learned a lot from the 34-year-old. She stated that Bayley understands the business like no other. 

I adore Bayley. Bayley is just an amazing person, and how brilliant she is when it comes to professional wrestling and the way she sees it is, honestly, something I’m so fortunate enough to have gotten to learn from. To be able to call her my friend, I’m very fortunate for that. She’s the best.

They have wrestled each other many times in WWE, and most of their matches were tag matches. Soho was released from WWE in 2021 and joined their rival company. Even though the 33-year-old is a part of AEW, she will have her eyes glued when Bayley wrestles at the Show of Shows.
