It has been over a week since the shocking demise of former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt, a.k.a. Windham Rotunda. The entire wrestling industry came together to pay their respects to the 36-year-old as he passed away due to a heart attack. WWE seemingly had big plans for the 36-year-old, but it did not materialize.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that WWE already had WrestleMania 40 plans for Bray Wyatt in the works. Reports speculated that Wyatt was to face Uncle Howdy at The Showcase of The Immortals in Philadelphia. Wyatt returned to WWE in October 2022 and planted seeds for the eventual showdown. He appeared in numerous segments with Howdy.

It was not clear what the plans were for Uncle Howdy and Bray Wyatt before Wyatt went on hiatus. However, reports and rumors suggested that they planned to have a feud shortly. Taylor Rotunda, Wyatt’s brother, played Howdy, better known to WWE fans as Bo Dallas.

When Wyatt went on a break in March, WWE undisclosed the reason, which confused fans as this was amidst his feud with Bobby Lashley. They were to have a match at WrestleMania 39. However, things could not come to fruition as the 36-year-old went on hiatus due to medical issues.

Multiple reports stated that he might return soon, and the doctors had cleared him to get in the ring. However, Wyatt suddenly passed away on August 24th with a heart attack, shocking everybody. His wife, Jojo Offerman, and four children survived him.

The passing of Bray Wyatt took everyone by shock, as no one saw it coming. Fans were waiting for reports and rumors about Wyatt’s return, as he had disappeared from WWE in March. The reason for his hiatus was not clear, but fans hoped he would return soon.

However, it will never happen now, unfortunately as the 36-year-old unexpectedly passed away. WWE paid their dues to Wyatt on SmackDown with numerous tributes. Apart from that, they also released a video on their YouTube channel where WWE superstars shared their memories with Wyatt.

Superstars like Drew McIntyre, Bayley, Otis, and others were emotional whilst talking about the former champion. The video is very heartfelt and emotional, as Samantha Irvin ends the video while signing Wyatt’s theme on an emotional note.
